Dean is a proud member of Metis Nation of Alberta, was born in Banff Alberta and raised in a close-knit local community that instilled him with family-centred values. Dean’s passion for renewable energy and his dedication to his Indigenous roots have shaped the foundation of Kicking Horse Power Inc.
Dean is a Master Electrician with over 20 years with his 100% Indigenous Solar Country Energy Ltd. The company serving Alberta and British Columbia and now expanding to create “Kicking Horse Power Corp”. This new company providing professional services for residential, commercial and industrial level clients throughout Western Canada.
Dean Georgeson and his staff have been installing electrical systems, and installing Solar PV projects. He has been working with Indigenous community, national parks solar, community works, and training, Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects and professional solar design and installation training programs throughout Western Canada.

We offer full-service, turn-key installation services. Every step of the project is sourced in house. Our staff is expertly trained in installation, along with OH&S safety practices and the Canadian Electrical Code. We believe in using only the highest quality solar and electrical equipment throughout your entire project. We do not cut corners. Everything is permitted as required and we keep in touch with our customers every step of the way. We understand that this is a big investment for every customer and want them to feel knowledgeable and kept up to date with estimated time of installation, arrival of equipment, and completion dates of projects.
